Casino Patron Wins Jury Verdict 

The Charges: The client was injured at Isle of Capri Casino when he slipped and fell in the buffet area with no warning signs present.  A Coahoma County jury awarded him $251,000 in compensation for his medical bills, surgeries, and pain and suffering.

Awarded: $251,000 – $151,000 for medical expenses and $100,000 for pain and suffering.  The verdict was appealed and upheld.

The Charges: Clients were passengers on a casino bus passing through a busy intersection, the bus ran a red light and struck a car causing many injuries.

Awarded: $225,000 among three clients.

Man Injured by Fork Lift

The Charges: Webster’s client was a truck driver picking up a load of lumber in Rankin County, Mississippi.  He was securing his load when a fork lift operator ran into him and dropped lumber onto his back causing severe injuries.

Webster admitted $35,000 in medical bills and the jury returned with $250,000 in non-economic damages.

Awarded: $282,497.10, less 5% fault = $268,372.24.
